Colour for everyone with the new Konica Minolta bizhub C200lite

With its new bizhub C200lite, Konica Minolta has launched an entry-level colour multifunctional tailored to small and mid-sized offices. Equipped with all essential features and functions of a device in its class, the bizhub C200lite provides unique ease of use, a major benefit for first-time users in particular. The new bizhub C200lite offers the same quality output and media flexibility as the rest of the bizhub colour range. With exceptional low energy consumption, falling below the new Energy Star requirements, the bizhub C200lite enables users to cut down costs.

The bizhub C200lite is an ideal choice for small to mid-sized offices looking to replace a monochrome device and upgrade to colour. All daily office needs are catered for, with a copy and print speed of 20 pages per minute, both in colour and black and white. Scan-to-e-mail is standard with optional analogue and even PC fax function. Copying, whether in colour, black and white or with mixed originals is fully automatic, preventing any confusion on the user’s part. The bizhub determines the correct paper tray, paper size and provides Auto Colour Selection, which is particularly useful with mixed originals.

With exceptional media flexibility the bizhub C200lite allows users to output onto card, envelopes or labels. Media of up to 256gsm and paper sizes from A6 to A3+ as well as any customised format in between are standard fare for the bizhub C200lite. The paper capacity ranges from the standard tray’s capacity of 250 sheets to 3,350 sheets optional maximum.

Besides being a simple and straightforward machine to use, the bizhub C200lite is also an environmentally sound decision. Using Konica Minolta’s proprietary Simitri HD high definition polymerised toner requires considerably lower fusing temperatures than conventional toner. As well as high media flexibility, this provides low energy consumption as evidenced by the Energy Star and German Blue Angel awards for the bizhub C200lite. Energy consumption even falls below the standards of the Energy Star by 40 percent. For users, this definitely pays off monetarily, too.

Both as a network or as a stand-alone device, the bizhub C200lite proves its qualities and ease-of-use. Thanks to the embedded Emperon controller, the new bizhub makes colour printing available to anyone in a network. A choice of 10Base-T/100Base-TX and high-speed USB 2.0 makes connection simple and easy. When used as a network device features such as cost monitoring of document production and document security are available. The secure print option requires users to enter a password at the bizhub’s user panel so that confidential information is output only when the user is present.
